जुदा होते हुए जब लगे, जुदा हम नही,
तब गम हो चाहे कितने भी, पर लेंगे कोई गम नही।
है असर, ए खुदा ये तेरे प्यार का, ये कोई जादू नही,
नज़र के सामने हो चाहे ना हो, फिर भी जब भी दूरी का एहसास नही,
गुनगुनाता है ये दिल, तब हमारा, तेरे नगमे छेड़े बिना रह पाता नही,

judā hōtē huē jaba lagē, judā hama nahī,
taba gama hō cāhē kitanē bhī, para lēṁgē kōī gama nahī।
hai asara, ē khudā yē tērē pyāra kā, yē kōī jādū nahī,
naja़ra kē sāmanē hō cāhē nā hō, phira bhī jaba bhī dūrī kā ēhasāsa nahī,
gunagunātā hai yē dila, taba hamārā, tērē nagamē chēḍa़ē binā raha pātā nahī,
pātā hūm̐ tujhē jaba apanēāpa mēṁ, taba apanēāpa kō yāda kara pātā nahī।
lagatā hai taba aisē jaisē ki maṁjila aura mērē bīca kōī dūrī hī nahī,
pāūm̐ jaba-jaba tujhē pāsa apanē, mērī khuśī kā kōī ṭhikānā nahī।
taba hōtē huē kahī, maiṁ kahām̐ hūm̐ isa bāta ki mujhē jñāna nahī,
yē hai prabhu tērē pyāra kī karāmata, isamēṁ mērī apanī kōī śakti nahī।

Even after being away from each other when it feels that we are not separate,
Then how much ever sadness is there, it feels there is no grief.
This is the effect of your love Oh God, this is not some magic.
Even if you are there or not there in front of my eyes, and when there is no feeling of separation;
Then this heart of mine sings, it cannot stop itself from singing your songs.
When I find you within me, then I cannot remember who am I,
Then I feel that there is no distance between me and my goal.
Whenever I find you near me, my happiness has no limits;
Then where ever I am, I still do not have the knowledge of where I am.
This is the effect of your love Oh God, this is not due to any energy of mine.
