अब आकर खुदा हमसे रूबरू मिलो, के रूह हमारी चैन चाहती है।
ना मिले जब तक नदी सागर से तब तक अधुरी रहती है।
ना मिले ज़ब तक चंद्र रजनी से, तब तक चाँदनी नही होती है।
वैसे ही ना हो आप और हम आमने सामने, तब तक बात मजा नही देती है।
बात नही है ये दूरी की, बात नही जुदाई की, रूबरू मिलने की बात है।
वैसे ख्यालों में बसे हो आप, पर बात है यह तो हकीकत की।
हमारे दिल की गहराइयों में भी आप हो, पर नज़र आपको ढूँढ रही है।

tamannāōṁ kī tasvīrōṁ sē bēcainī hamārī baḍha़ jātī hai।
aba ākara khudā hamasē rūbarū milō, kē rūha hamārī caina cāhatī hai।
nā milē jaba taka nadī sāgara sē taba taka adhurī rahatī hai।
nā milē ja़ba taka caṁdra rajanī sē, taba taka cām̐danī nahī hōtī hai।
vaisē hī nā hō āpa aura hama āmanē sāmanē, taba taka bāta majā nahī dētī hai।
bāta nahī hai yē dūrī kī, bāta nahī judāī kī, rūbarū milanē kī bāta hai।
vaisē khyālōṁ mēṁ basē hō āpa, para bāta hai yaha tō hakīkata kī।
hamārē dila kī gaharāiyōṁ mēṁ bhī āpa hō, para naja़ra āpakō ḍhūm̐ḍha rahī hai।
basa jāō sārē najārōṁ mēṁ, kē hamārī bēkarārī karāra cāhatī hai।
khōnā cāhatē hai hama tō āpa mēṁ pūrī taraha, ki hōśa hamārē hamasē phariyāda karatē hai।
madahōśī cāhatē hai āpakē pyāra kī, kē āpakā pyārā dīdāra cāhatē hai।

The images of desires increases my restlessness.
Now Oh Lord, meet me face to face, my soul desires peace.
Till the time the river does not meet the ocean, it remains incomplete.
Till the time the moon does not meet the night, till then the moon ray does not occur.
Similarly, till the time we are not face to face, till then there is no joy.
