આગર સૂર છેડું હું તો, તાલ તું એને આપજે
અગર ગીત ગાઉં હું તો શબ્દ તું મને આપજે
સૂરમાં જેમ સંગીત સમાય, ગીતમાં જેમ શબ્દ સમાય, તું એવી રીતે સાથ નિભાવજે
મિટાવીને બધી દૂરી આપણી વચ્ચે, તારા પ્યારથી મને તું નિખારજે
ના રહે અલગતા, એકરૂપતાના રંગથી તું મને એવો રંગી નાખજે
મટી જાયે પહેચાન મારી, તારી એવી પહેચાન તું મને આપજે
પ્રભુ તારા ભક્તિના રંગથી, તું મને રંગી નાખજે
હોય અધૂરપ મારામાં જો ક્યાંય, તો એને ના તું રહેવા દેજે
પામું પૂર્ણતાને હું પ્રભુ, તું મને પૂર્ણ બનાવજે
છે મારી મંઝિલ તું પ્રભુ આ ભાવોમાં, તું સતત મને સ્થિર રાખજે

āgara sūra chēḍuṁ huṁ tō, tāla tuṁ ēnē āpajē
agara gīta gāuṁ huṁ tō śabda tuṁ manē āpajē
sūramāṁ jēma saṁgīta samāya, gītamāṁ jēma śabda samāya, tuṁ ēvī rītē sātha nibhāvajē
miṭāvīnē badhī dūrī āpaṇī vaccē, tārā pyārathī manē tuṁ nikhārajē
nā rahē alagatā, ēkarūpatānā raṁgathī tuṁ manē ēvō raṁgī nākhajē
maṭī jāyē pahēcāna mārī, tārī ēvī pahēcāna tuṁ manē āpajē
prabhu tārā bhaktinā raṁgathī, tuṁ manē raṁgī nākhajē
hōya adhūrapa mārāmāṁ jō kyāṁya, tō ēnē nā tuṁ rahēvā dējē
pāmuṁ pūrṇatānē huṁ prabhu, tuṁ manē pūrṇa banāvajē
chē mārī maṁjhila tuṁ prabhu ā bhāvōmāṁ, tuṁ satata manē sthira rākhajē

If I sing a melody, then you give the beats to it.
If I sing a song then you give me the words.
In a melody the way a tune merges; in a song the way the words merge; you give me company like that.
Erase all distance between us, with your love make me better.
There should no separation between us, please colour me with the colours of oneness.
My identity should be erased, give me your identity in that way.
Oh God, colour me with your colours of devotion.
If there is incompleteness in me, then do not let it remain.
I should achieve completeness; Oh God you make me complete.
You are my goal Oh God, keep me stable in those feelings.
